caring for baby's dental health
Babies need special care from gum care, to first baby teeth eruptions. Caring for your Amazing Kid's health from the start will ensure a lifetime of dental and overall health.
Guidelines for Baby dental care
- The American Academy of Pediatrics has updated its guidelines to say no juices for babies under 1 year of age. After age 1, kids can have 4 to 6 ounces daily, with the suggestion to water down the juices.
- Only water in bottles for babies overnight.
- Only water in sippy cups for "during the night" drinks.
- Begin wiping down the inside of your baby's mouth even before teeth erupt.
Please do not share pacifiers or toothbrushes, as bacteria can be spread from you to baby.
